Country Lead, Pakistan
Hassan Mahmood, MD, MPH
Dr. Hassan Mahmood is a medical doctor and public health professional, who completed his MBBS from Pakistan and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. He has a strong background in project management, service delivery, public health research, and public health policy advocacy. Based on different public health projects, Dr. Mahmood has publications in peer reviewed national and international journals.
Dr. Mahmood has diverse experience in hospital management, project planning, project implementation and research-based advocacy at the National, Provincial and District levels. He has been working in close collaboration with National and Provincial Health Departments to implement different public health projects/campaigns all over the country. These projects include hepatitis prevention and control, tobacco control, Tuberculosis (TB) control, HIV/AIDS control, infection control, injection safety, maternal newborn, and neonatal child health (MNCH), cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and diabetes prevention and control.
He is actively involved in monitoring and evaluation of programs/projects, conducting training for master trainers, capacity building of the staff, development of monitoring tools and establishment of monitoring mechanism in many districts. He has conducted capacity building and training sessions of health care providers, government health officials, lawyers, and media persons on different public health related issues. He has conducted and executed public health research (e.g. conducting and coordinating community–based research trials – mostly randomized controlled trials), surveys, data collection and statistical analysis of the data.
Operations Manager
Khawaja Asim, MA
Khawaja Asim is a Cost and Management Accountant qualified from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. Apart from his professional accounting qualification, he has also acquired his master’s degree in English literature from the University of Punjab (Pakistan). Mr. Asim has 17 years of experience working in different departments of the Federal Government of Pakistan.
In his career, he has been involved with monitoring and controlling of manual and computerized accounting records, preparing budgets and cost estimates for numerous projects, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis of the actual & forecast budgets, as well as composing the annual operating plan of an organization.
Additionally, he has experience in finalizing organizational accounts, liaising with internal and external auditors, generating reports to send to donor agencies, evaluating monthly expenses reports, working with banks for managing and investing surplus funds of an organization. Apart from his experience in accounting and auditing, he has remained involved in assisting with large procurement and providing logistical support for many national and international projects.
Public Health Analyst
Nayab Shahid, MSPH
Ms. Nayab Shahid is a public health professional with expertise in nutrition and a strong focus on strengthening health systems and promoting evidence-based programs. Throughout her career, she has supported initiatives aimed at improving maternal and child health, promoting community-based interventions, and leveraging data-driven approaches to enhance service delivery.
As Project Coordinator at Integral Global (IG), Ms. Shahid manages key technical functions, including research, business development, data collection, analysis, and report writing, monitoring and evaluation, and project management. She ensures the effective design, implementation, and quality delivery of public health programs.
Ms. Shahid fosters partnerships with government stakeholders and development partners to advance integrated and sustainable health interventions that strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes.
Public Health Analyst
Alina Rashid
Alina Rashid is a public health researcher with over seven years of experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating health interventions across infectious and non-communicable diseases, mental health, and early childhood development. She specializes in digital health innovation, particularly in developing digital patient applications and dashboards to strengthen health systems and improve service delivery. Her background includes trial design, including randomized controlled trials (RCTs), mixed-methods research, and data analysis.
At Integral Global (IG), Alina works as a Public Health Analyst across multiple public health projects, supporting literature reviews, data collection and analysis, report writing, and manuscript development. She also contributes to business development activities and serves as Assistant Project Coordinator for the Tobacco Cessation Project providing program implementation support.
Consultant
Huma Qureshi, MD, FRCP
Dr. Huma Qureshi currently works as a consultant for IG, conducting work related to increasing access to diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis C in rural under-served communities of Islamabad. She is a gastroenterologist consultant with a special focus on liver diseases. She has practiced at three private hospitals in Karachi over the last 20 years. Dr. Qureshi has 140 research publications to her credit. For her research contributions, she was decorated with “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” and awarded an honorary Fellowship from Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Additionally, she is the Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pakistan Medical Association and Editor of the Pakistan Journal of Medical Research. In 2008, she conducted a National Survey on Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C prevalence in the General Population of Pakistan. She is also the Program Coordinator from the Government of Pakistan on the WHO Collaborative Cancer Control Program and Health Research. Currently, she is the Executive Director of the Pakistan Medical Research Council in Islamabad. She has conducted national surveys and written reports on topics such as the prevalence of Hepatitis B and C in Pakistan (2009), Polio Seroprevalence Survey in Pakistan (2011), as well as a Malaria Indicator Survey (2013).

Zain Ul Abdin is an experienced professional with over eight years of service in the organization. Holding a B.A. and currently pursuing a BS degree, he has worked across multiple roles including Project Officer, Project Assistant, and Office Incharge. His journey reflects strong growth, with extensive hands-on experience and a continued commitment to learning and professional development.

Yasir
Yasir serves as an Accounts Officer at Integral Global, bringing over five years of dedicated experience in managing financial operations within the organization. In his role, he is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounting processes, and ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day financial activities.
He has developed strong expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting, while also working closely with different departments to support efficient financial coordination and compliance. His work plays a key role in strengthening financial systems and ensuring transparency across operations.
Yasir holds a Master’s degree, which has further enhanced his analytical thinking and managerial capabilities. With a detail-oriented approach and a strong sense of responsibility, he remains committed to contributing to the organization’s effectiveness while continuously advancing his professional growth

Muhammad Umer Arshad is an experienced administrative and finance professional specializing in financial management, operations, and compliance. As Admin and Finance Officer at Integral Global (IG), he manages budgeting, procurement, logistics, and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to organizational and donor requirements. He plays a key role in supporting project implementation through efficient coordination, resource management, and operational support.
